  • Focus on: General Practice Receptionists and First Contact Physiotherapy

    General Practice Receptionists

General Practice receptionists are also patient advisers. By asking a few simple questions, a GP receptionist can help identify which member of the practice team it would be best for you to see. There are a lot of different experts including pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses, paramedics and social prescribers. The receptionist can help you find the right one for your healthcare needs. Click the video below to find out more:

    We have opportunities for:

    First Contact Physiotherapy

The First Contact Physiotherapy model (FCP) is an alternative to GP appointments for musculoskeletal problems (MSK). It means that, instead of seeing a GP about a new muscle, joint or back problem, you will be given an appointment with a senior Physiotherapist. So your first contact will be with the physiotherapist, not the doctor. Find out more.
